Bond cigarettes

If you believe the legend, influential people, including the Belgian king, Albert, have become some of the consumers of tobacco products. The monarch presented the tobacco manufacturer with a shop, which was located on an elite (in terms of trade) street in London, as a sign of his own sympathy. Since these events, Old Bond Street cigarette products have come a long way. The high quality of tobacco and the reputation of the manufacturer helped the Bond brand to enter the trading markets of more than 50 countries. To this day, all packs of the company’s cigarettes are produced with the royal coat of arms depicted on them. Bond cigarettes appeared on the world stage more than a century ago. During its existence, cigarettes have managed to attract more than one million connoisseurs of high-quality tobacco.

The history of the development of Bond cigarettes will seem excessively calm and gray. The brand did not stand out for the uniqueness of advertising campaigns, which cannot be said about the more expensive segment of cigarettes: “Camel” or “Chesterfield” with their predilection for engaging the masses of movie stars and radio.

Bond cigarettes were made for the middle-income tobacco lovers and did not try to compete with high-end brands. The company combined premium tobacco with reasonable price tags and did not let the quality drop. In 1919, the Bond cigarettes brand was bought and registered in the state of Virginia. The coat of arms with the royal crown tells about its origins in Britain. The first filtered products were released by the Americans, under pressure from the social movement to ban smoking.

Lighter versions were invented later, including slim-size female cigarettes. The use of firm and durable packs began in the 90s, this aroused interest among consumers, which increased the popularity of the brand. 2006 will be remembered for the launch of the production of a series of premium segment Bond cigarettes “Bond Street Special”: super-light Fine, light Mild and heavy Rach series. In just 3 years they stopped producing them, and the market met another product of the company – “Bond Compact”.
